Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your morning breakfast, your professional guide-driver will be ready to pick you up. You will then hit the road heading to southwestern Uganda to the home of the mountain gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

En route, there is a local community popular for making local drums and crafts and a fruit market, make a stopover to admire or buy yourself some of these items for your family back at home or souvenirs. Proceed to the equator line and take as many photos as you can of this beautiful Africa. You may opt to have some coffee here before you embark on the safari. Pass by mountain and tropical rainforest during the nine-hour journey. You will have lunch en-route Mbarara.

The drive to the mountain gorilla sanctuary is over 7 hours from Kampala. You could choose to fly to Bwindi if you don’t feel like driving and this need for prior arrangements. On arrival in the late afternoon, you will go straight to your lodge and check in. You can use the rest of the day to relax in the lodge compound enjoying the green atmosphere and the breeze it comes along with. Later in the evening, you will go for lunch and later overnight stay. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The focal day of this safari finally is here. After breakfast, early morning, with your guide proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of this safari- gorilla trekking, which may last the entire day. We trek gorillas through the rainforest and bamboo-covered slopes accompanied by a guide in search of a mountain gorilla family.

You may choose to carry packed picnic lunch since the time you have to trek to find the apes is not definite sometimes it might the shortest period of 2 hours and sometimes it can go up to 8 hours. The lunch carried will definitely be of help if the trek takes a long.

Make sure that you rehydrate yourself by carrying lots of water it can be that tough sometimes, but in the spot of the silverback, all the tiredness will fade away when the gorilla family is sighted, and you will be guided to within 6 meters from the gorillas, sit around them for a whole hour while observing them in the natural habitat. Day 3 of 5 Days Kenya Uganda Safari: Flight Transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe and Then to Masai Mara

A morning breakfast meal will be served before you set off from the accommodation facility in Bwindi or Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip where we transfer to Entebbe from here by flight then we board a flight from Entebbe to Maasai Mara in Kenya.

Upon arrival, you will be met by camp staff and take a short game drive on the way to camp. You may opt for evening game drives in the reserve if you wish so! Later get back to your lodge and rest as you have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 of 5 Days Kenya Uganda Safari: Full Day Game Drives in Maasai Mara National Reserve

This is another great day as it comes with an opportunity to see the big 5 in this full-day game drive. After an early morning cup of coffee/ tea, before sunrise, you will be able to spot different predators that might have made a kill last night. You will return for breakfast at the camp while the sun rises over the game reserve. You may decide to take packed lunch to avoid these breaks to have a full feel of what the park can offer. The secret of sighting many animals in the park is to have as many game drives as possible.

A large pride of lions, cheetahs, leopards, jackals, elephants, giraffes, African buffaloes, eland, ostrich, battered foxes, jackals, and black rhinos are some of the animals you may spot as you drive around. After that exciting day, you will come back to the camp where you can relax with a cold drink on your Veranda with a view of the Mara River.
