However, as of my last update in June 2023, here are the general visa requirements for Uganda:
Tourist Visa:
A valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond your intended departure date from Uganda.
Completed visa application form.
Passport-sized photos (usually two).
Visa fee payment (varies based on nationality).
Return or onward ticket or travel itinerary.
Yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay.
Business Visa:
A valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond your intended departure date from Uganda.
Completed visa application form.
Passport-sized photos (usually two).
Visa fee payment (varies based on nationality).
Letter of invitation from a Ugandan company or organization.
Proof of business purpose for your visit.
Return or onward ticket or travel itinerary.
Yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay.
Transit Visa:
A valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond your intended departure date from Uganda.
Completed visa application form.
Passport-sized photos (usually two).
Visa fee payment (varies based on nationality).
Copy of your onward ticket.
Yellow fever vaccination certificate.
East African Tourist Visa (valid for Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda):
This special visa allows you to travel between Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda without the need for separate visas for each country.
