Day 1: Arrive in Arusha & Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival, you will be met and ushered in by our professional safari representative who will offer the briefing to you and thereafter depart to Arusha for Tarangire National Park arriving at the perfect time for lunch at Lake Burunge Tented Camp.

Lake Burunge Tented Camp consists of luxury tents set in a shady bushland grove with spectacular views onto Lake Burunge in the migratory corridor of Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks. The afternoon will be dedicated to game drives and wildlife exploration, later we will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Wildlife Adventures in Tanzania

Day 2 of 8 Days Tanzania Cultural Tour: Game drive and transfer to lake Manyara National Park

You will be served with an early morning light breakfast meal and then set off to enjoy the extensive game drives in Tarangire that will offer you the best opportunities to view breathtaking scenery and plenty of wildlife species found in this magnificent park. With your camera on standby, you will capture these breathtaking moments.

In the dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for migratory animals like wildebeest, zebra, common eland, hartebeest, gazelles, buffalo, and elephants all of which are larger in numbers than you can imagine. Wild sport is quite easy as well. You will then wind up your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Lake the camp.

Day 3 of 8 Days Tanzania Cultural Tour: Morning game drive and transfer to Eyasi Lake

You will have a light breakfast meal before driving off to the shores of Lake Eyasi arriving at a perfect time for lunch at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is a less visited part of Tanzania that lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western wall of the Great Rift Valley.

In the afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe.

Visit these tribes and enjoy a Tanzania Safari of their homestead, learn about their traditional way of life, animal tracking, their eating habits, medicinal plants, and much more. You will then retreat for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Lake Eyasi Adventure

Day 4 of 8 Days Tanzania Cultural Tour: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

You will start this amazing morning with a light breakfast meal and thereafter depart for Serengeti National Park; you will arrive for lunch at Bush Camp. Serengeti National Park is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries remaining on the planet earth.

Serengeti is undoubtedly best known for its abundance of wildlife, unequaled natural beauty, and scenic value.

Visitors to this part of Serengeti witness the spectacle of the wildebeest migration. Enjoy the afternoon game drive. You will end your day with a dinner meal and overnight at the camp.

Day 5 of 8 Days Tanzania Cultural Tour: Full-day activities in Serengeti National Park

You will be served an early morning breakfast before you start off with game drives. You will come along with your packed picnic lunch as we head out for game viewing in the Serengeti game park, undoubtedly Africa’s finest game reserve.

Serengeti National Park is the most photographed and filmed game reserve with an incredibly dense population of wildlife and never-ending rolling plains. Serengeti offers an authentic and idyllic wilderness safari and is home to the largest animal migration on the planet.

Big herds of animals to be seen here include elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, topi, Grant’s, and Thomson’s gazelles, and many more. You will then have dinner followed by an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6 of 8 Days Tanzania Cultural Tour: Transfer to – Ngorongoro crater

We will have an early wake-up, breakfast and thereafter we proceed for a morning game drive in the Serengeti. After lunch, we will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

On the way, you will make a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge where DR Leakey discovered the earliest ancestors of mankind.

Then proceed on with your journey to Ngorongoro Crater arriving at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge late afternoon for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7 of 8 Days Tanzania Cultural Tour: Full-day activities in Ngorongoro crater

You are yet to encounter more of the adventures ahead with a lot of interesting scenic views and the natural breeze. You will be served with your breakfast just before you descend over 600 meters into the floor of the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.

Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds will be here. Later, I drove to Karatu overnight at Bougainvillea Lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 8 of 8 Days Tanzania Cultural Tour: Drop off at the Airport for departure on time.

You will wake up before sunrise and have your breakfast before driving off to Lake Manyara National Park for a whole morning game drive. Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitats attract a wide variety of animals including huge herds of elephants.

Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake, are major attractions to this great reserve. After lunch, you will be driven back to Arusha. You will be dropped at your hotel in Arusha or at the Arusha airstrip for a scheduled flight.

Overnight stay options:

If staying in Arusha, please request assistance at the time of booking this safari to allow us ample time to make prior arrangements. If departing Arusha the same night, please note that by both uses of charter flight or by road. Returns to Arusha are always late morning approximately 1100hrs/1200hrs by charter flight or 1600 by road. Please DO NOT book flights departing prior to 1600hrs or 2200hrs respectively in order to allow time for security, check-in, and if any delays due to weather.
