Day 1 of 10 Days Combined Uganda Kenya Safari: Arrival at Entebbe Airport Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide who will then transfer you to your hotel for a dinner meal and overnight stay.

Day 2 of 10 Days Combined Uganda Kenya Safari: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

After breakfast early in the morning, our professional driver will be there to pick you up and your trip starts. Before setting off for the journey will brief you about the whole trip before starting up the drive. You will be able to enjoy the fascinating drive through the papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale. Feel free to ask your guide anything that you feel needs explanation.

The guide assigned to you has as much information as you may need to know and is worth noting. You will have lunch en route at Fort Portal. By late afternoon you will check in your lodge, refresh and get ready for a guided walk-in crater lakes area of the park, you will experience an outstanding cultural visit. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as you prepare for the following day’s adventure.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

Day 3 of 12 Days Combined Uganda Kenya Safari: Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale Forest National Park and Transfer to Bwindi

After an early breakfast, your guide will be there to take you for a half-day search for the chimpanzees. You will also have a chance to see other primates including photos, of red colobus monkeys, blue and red-tailed, and grey-cheeked Manga-bey. The guide will drop you at the office headquarters. You will be briefed by the park rangers and hand you to the guide who will take you through the trek.

After spotting the chimpanzees you will be allowed to spend an hour with them in their natural life. Take as many pictures as possible. You have to ensure your camera flashlight is turned off. After this experience, you will return to the starting point to meet up with your guide who will drop you back at the lodge, have lunch and check out.

You will embark on a six-hour drive to Bwindi’s Impenetrable forest through Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will be able to spot some animals like elephants, Buffalos, among others. You will arrive at a good hour for dinner, check into your lodge, refresh and have dinner and later overnight stay.

Day 4 of 10 Days Combined Uganda Kenya Safari: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

This is the critical day of our trip Gorilla Trekking. After breakfast, we assemble at the briefing ground of the park offices ready to receive the proceedings of the day, before being guided in the forest by the park ranger guide.

You will also be escorted by the touring police to protect you against any threat be it from forest Elephants, buffalos, and even wild Gorillas. Trekking of the gorillas depends on how lucky you were on the family of the gorilla permit. There are various gorilla families in the forest and you will be assigned to one of them at the time of booking.

After spotting your gorilla family, you will be given an hour to spend with the family up close. Take memorable pictures to capture this amazing moment. After this, you will return to your lodge for an overnight dinner.

Day 5 of 10 Days Combined Uganda Kenya Safari: Transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe and Fly-Out to Nairobi

The return journey to Kampala will be in the morning after breakfast, then Entebbe with lunch en-route with stopovers at Igongo cultural center to explore the lifestyle of the Ankole and Bahima.

Thereafter proceed to the Uganda equator before the evening departure flight to Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Upon arrival at the airport (JKIA), our safari guide will be there to meet you to transfer you to a hotel. Later you will have dinner and overnight

Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Day 6 of 10 Days Combined Uganda Kenya Safari: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, you will check out by around 8 am. Your guide-driver will be there to pick you up for the safari. Shortly after leaving Nairobi, you will begin your descent down the floor of the great rift valley, you will enjoy short photography stopovers at the viewing point where you can enjoy a stunning view of this geographical phenomenon.

Proceed further to Naivasha, Gilgil, and Elementaita areas arriving at lake Nakuru and check-in in at your lodge to freshen and have your lunch. This afternoon, you will enjoy game drives in the park and along the shores of the alkaline lake.

You will enjoy a hot lunch at your lodge before taking an afternoon game drive along the shores of the lake to spot baboons, buffalo, lions, leopards, eland, waterbucks, and more. The popular pink-necked lesser flamingoes may be spotted here.

After an early breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve at 8 am, on arrival, check in at your lodge; freshen up and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will begin your evening game drive around 3 pm, in search of the BIG 5 and several other animals and birds until late evening around 7 pm.

Day 8 And 9 of 10 Days Combined Uganda Kenya Safari: Masai Mara National Reserve

Also known as the 8^th wonder of the world; to fully witness the wonders of this mighty park, you will be required to wake up before dawn, for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Maasai Mara sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee, you will head out into the park to watch as the sun sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage of the morning cool to search for a meal.

Alternatively, you can escalate the moment of joy to the skies with a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before setting down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife. Ask your safari expert about adding a hot air balloon adventure to your safari in order not to miss this breathtaking experience. Your guide can also organize a visit to a traditional Masai village (Manyattas) where you can join the pastoral community and learn more about their unique culture.
