Day 1 of 3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Uganda: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
After the morning breakfast at your lodge, our professional driver will come and pick you and head for Kibale National Park; prior to setting off for the journey, he will brief you on what to expect along the journey. As you drive through the countryside, enjoy the remarkable landscape sceneries, traditional homes and catch a glimpse of different striking bird’s species.
Engage your guide all along as he has all the information you may need to note about this amazing journey. You will have a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal town. Then later you will drive into your lodge to check-in at the crater lakes region. Relax wait for the evening to have your dinner and overnight.

Day 2 of 3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Uganda Tour: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the briefing ground at the office. He will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek and your ranger guide will go with you on the trek in search of the great apes.
Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor. This moment is always astonishing and leaves you with a great feeling of niceness and contentment. After this exciting encounter with the apes, your ranger will hand you back to your guide who will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have lunch as you wait for the next activity in the afternoon.
Chimpanzee Trekking Safari to Uganda
In the afternoon, you will set out to explore the Bigodi village where you have the opportunity to visit the swamp with a variety of butterflies, plants, animals, and spectacular bird species like Great Blue Turaco and will be of great interest to birds’ enthusiasts.
After this experience, you will take a village walk that will lead you to the coffee experience, huge coffee plantations, banana beer making, basked making, and traditional healer. After this tiresome day, your driver will take you back to your lodge for dinner and rest as we prepare for the following day.
